Noa is ten years old. She lives in a small house in Haifa
with her mother, her father and her little brother, Ben. The
family has a grey cat. Her name is Mitzi. Mitzi has green eyes
and a long white tail.
Every morning, Mitzi sits next to Noa's bed and waits for
her breakfast. But on Sunday morning, Mitzi is not there. Noa
looks under the bed. She looks in the kitchen and in the
garden. There is no cat! Noa is very sad.
After school, Noa and Ben make a poster. It says: "Lost
cat! Grey, with green eyes. Please call Noa." They put the
poster on a tree in their street.
On Tuesday evening, the family is eating dinner. Suddenly,
Ben hears a sound at the door. "Meow!" Noa runs and opens the
door. It is Mitzi! She is dirty and hungry, but she is fine.
Noa gives her food and water. Now Mitzi is sleeping on Noa's
bed again, and Noa is very happy.
