רדיאנים, ושלוש נוסחאות יסוד

בחשבון דיפרנציאלי הזווית נמדדת ברדיאנים: π\pi רדיאנים הם 180∘180^\circ, ו-π6\frac{\pi}{6} הם 30∘30^\circ. רק ברדיאנים מתקיים הגבול lim⁡x→0sin⁡xx=1\lim\limits_{x\to 0}\frac{\sin x}{x}=1, ועליו נשענת הנוסחה (sin⁡x)′=cos⁡x(\sin x)'=\cos x. במעלות היה מופיע המקדם π180\frac{\pi}{180} בכל נגזרת.
